Key dates

1956 -  Company was founded as "Termination Equipment Company Limited" with the main focus of selling Rail Solutions to the UK Traction Industry

1987 -  Company was renamed "Termate" and its scope was expanded in serving the Low Voltage Electrical Switchgear sector. This was in addition to the company's activities in the Rail sector

2006 -  Termate celebrates its 50th Anniversary

2007 -  Rob Swann assumes ownership of the company. Termate becomes part of Encompass group incorporating "Termate Ltd", "3Phase Design Ltd" and "kA Testing Ltd"

2010 -  Antonis Pantazopoulos is appointed as General Manager of Termate Ltd with Rob Swann assuming the role of Managing Director of Encompass Group

This knowledge combined with our first class customer service and manufacturing capability  has led many manufacturers globally to select Termate as their preferred supplier of Low Voltage Switchgear components. Our main facility  is located in Nottingham, Central England.
